I had an order for a bunch of 20' 4x8 beams, so I got to max out the length capacity of the Peterson. The logs were 20'4" and I had just a couple inches between the blade and the log at each end.
These logs were mostly very high quality, and I now have about 450bf of 4/4 left over, 200bf of which is FAS grade ( or would be if it were graded ) several boards clear both sides the entire length, 5"-8" wide.
Any idea what I should try to sell this for, and how I should go about finding someone who will give me the best price for it? I didn't make a heck of a profit off the beams, so I am hoping to get a little extra from the better grade stuff.

Around here, poplar is sometimes used for trim like baseboards. You might find a contractor who'd buy it instead of pine.

Yes, it would be great for molding, especially being as long as it is. I thought about doing it myself, but I'd have to find a kiln that can do 20' lengths.
