I don't often deal much with the hard woods but lately I had a job clearing a patch of Maple and I put roughly 12,000 Board Feet worth of what I concider *DanG nice wood. Strait trunks with average 40+ inch base. Does anyone know a average price to sell this at? Green wood milled in various dimensions? Thanks

There's been someone from Sedro-Woolley cutting and selling hardwood on Craigslist.  It's been a month or two since I've seen an ad and sorry, don't remember exactly how it was priced.

Don't attribute irritating behavior to malevolence when mere stupidity will suffice as an explanation.

If it's quilted the price can be very high from luthers and gunstock makers.
For an idea of what people might pay, check e-bay for "quilted maple". From the 'advance search' page you can search for completed auctions and see what people will actually pay for small lots. I use about 1000 bft of fancy maple for gunstocks and a lot of the wood I find at small sawmills is off grade and they sell it for $1 a bft or less... Please don't educate them
