What would 2 White Oak logs striate  about 30"X 10' long be worth?
They are on the ground and fresh cut. I am looking for any help you can give
I have always got logs for free. There is a big pile of logs there now.  Some one
is going to come and look at them today.  So we will see if any are going home
with them.

Depends on how nice they are Veneer grade they could be worth a Thousand bucks, pallet grade about $150. That assumes the 30 inches is the small end.  It scales out to just over 800 Board Feet if the 30" is the small end inside the bark less otherwise. Probably they are sawlogs not veneer and with just 2 you may get $100 $150 each for them if your buyer is motivated to pick up only 2 logs most want a truck load at a time.

Thanks for your info. They are just saw logs and the guy said what are you willing to pay?
I said let me get back to you. So I will try and get them for around 100.
I have never bought any logs before. They are just a mile from my mill. If I get them I will
Get pics up so you can see.
