Somewhere I saw a thread about using a seat on a WM. We have one that we use most of the time. I was just wondering if anyone ever tried putting an umbrella on one to protect the sawyer from sun and wind?
I have a seat on for my Mizer, only time I have ever put it on for myself was so I could have the shade from the umbrella. It was the umbrella off of our outdoor dinning set, that was working fine for me, well, till da wife found out ::)
Here you go. I also had to replace my worn seat. https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php/topic,7789.580.html

Very Nice!
Is that a WM umbrella or something you adapted?
That's slick, Magic, but I don't think it would work for me :(

Tractor/equipment umbrella from a farm supply store. I've replaced the canvas once. I paint it with Thompson's Waterseal, and get about 4 years out of it. I just googled tractor umbrella and found a source:
