Help I.D. steering rack

I am converting my Timber Devil wood splitter to self propelled with steering.
I am trying to figure out the steering rack. This is one example.Anyone recognize what this may have come from?
The MFG. was not very encouraging about my project and not so willing to share info.
This one is in Florida, I'm in Vermont, not so close for a look see.
My other option is to put a small hyd. cylinder on it to do the steering.

Thats just a home made beam with a manual car rack on it.  Bout any will work

Another style might be a lawn tractor type (gear) or the go-cart shaft with a L for the tie rod.

some of the older tour type modified racecars would use old Ford Mustang steering racks. I think some super modifieds would as well. Maybe check Speedway motors, Summit, or something similar?
