Does anyone know what the Husky equivalent is to the JONSERED CS2172?

OAP

The 372 xp is the closest I think, although Husqvarna claim its lighter.
The J-red power head only - 14.1lb
The Husky power head only - 13.4lb

That's what I was wondering....I've been toying with the idea of getting a 372 XP for felling to go along with my 346 XP. The Jonsered is quite a bit less expensive.....I know they are both made by Husky....are they as good?

OAP

I dont know for sure the 372 gets a lot of good reviews but I bet there is not much between the two. Try em both and see which feels best, the handles are at a slightly different angel on each. What is the best dealer near you ?
I think the J-red is a better looking saw ;D and they cost more than the Husky over here.

For full blown dealers it's all Husky and Stihl near me for the most part.....

OAP

Stihl ms 441 ? Someone here will have run them all and know for sure. I have never had a Jonsered , only because they are to expensive. :'(

I can get them for around the same price....the Husky is actually about $25 more expensive.

The new strato 372xp XT = 2172 not the old 372xp. The weight is just over 14.??lbs PHO just like the 2172 too.  ;)

New de-comp in top cover, old de-comp on right side  of cylinder/
