Well, I blew all the teeth off one of my Optico blades. >:( Three 40d nails in the pith of a nice 24"+ doug fir butt log. Must have had a previous life as a fence post or something. :)
I'm looking for saw doc recomondations, and I would like to hear from those who have retipped their own blades. I have an oxy-acytalene rig, could buy the jig and I think putting on the tips would be no problem, my concern is grinding the correct angles on the new teeth, especially the radial and tangential tapers, how is it done?

Tips are pre ground, pre tinned

Say, Cap'n,

Do you stand up at your coomputer? ;) ;)

I probably will eventually get a retipping jig, & a Hot torch.

If I find a bunch of cheep tips, I may just opt to cut  nails!  :D :D
