New kid with an M14 Belsaw, first boards after installation are thicker on the end than the lead....
New teeth in the blade, carriage and tracks are parallel to the blade. Board starts out at 1-7/8 and ends at 2-1/2 over about 10 feet.
Any thoughts of what I can try next?
THANK YOU!

Hey robshepler,

it could be one thing or a combination of things
Are all the boards sawing out as described?
I'm sure others with more experience will weigh-in

Until then, I'll suggest these checks,
is there any play in the carriage wheels perpendicular to the tracks?
Are the headblocks and dogs holding fast?
New teeth, holding secure in the blade? what about shanks?

here is a good reference to work with

did you angle the blade out at all?  They should have a degree or so of lead into the log, if my reading hasn't misled me...

Repeat cuts will tell if the saw is working right. The last board tells about the carriage. Ona a log that doesn't spring, the gig back [clearance of saw to log, just touching] tells also.
