Winter Keys to Woody Plants of Maine

This is a valuable key for those in the NE states and Maritime provinces, but specific to the State of Maine. It is intended for use between the end of the growing season and the resumption of growth the following spring. A woody plant is considered a seed plant which has a persistant, ligneous, aerial stem which usually increases in length and diameter each year.
