Lumber Grading Help

Does anyone know any contacts that are approved for DOC PS 20 grading?

Google NeLma and click on their transient grader tab or whatever they are calling it. Google also Timber Products Inspections. In PA It'll more than likely be one of those 2.

Under the alternative methods and materials clause the building official is allowed to consider the input of registered design professionals. It also states that it is not the intent of the building code to be overly burdensome in this regard. I've been allowed to have an engineer write a letter for the file stating that the wood is #2 (species) or better.

So there's a couple of ways. If this is a camp I think you have another exemption in PA.
