Actually feeling like Summer here.  8)

Road trip on Saturday to a pretty remote but "World Famous in NZ" beach. A bit off the beaten track, and the only public access for about 30 miles of coastline. Had to share it with about 4 other people  :D

Looks like summer too!  Maybe it is there. ;D

There is a beech here in NB on the NE shore that is nice warm water in summer, shallow and the water gets into the 70's. There is a provincial run campground near it. I was there once in the off season with family in September, not another soul around except for us. One thing I did notice though, sand fleas. :D :D

Raining, hard enough to hear through the roof. Very odd for this time of year. We are above freezing for the moment so it's not icing.

I have 26 and should get up into the high 30's.
This would have made a great crust for walking on if we would have had snow on the ground.
I might have 4 inches of snow on the ground.

Like a honey glazed donut outside, shiny.
Ist step off the porch this morning
was a near disaster.
We had 2-3 " sleet then rain for hours then froze up solid overnight. Can't kick a heel into it anywhere . There will be no plowing or snowblowing that mess.
Was sunny for a change and near 40 this afternoon.

Nice sunny day today!  Yay!  The rain and snow has been crazy.  The Sierras have 251% of normal snow to date.  I believe it was Echo Summit (Highway 50 just west of Lake Tahoe) has just under 27 FEET of snow this year.

That was a cool video.

Technically we have had no snow this winter.  We got 2 small snows in late fall.  I want some snow.

What we have today is a miserable rainy day with 39 deg and it just thundered and consequently my dogs are freaked out.

I've removed snow here or sleet almost every day for days now. She's adding up again today. We aren't getting a lot in any one storm. We only had one big storm, 12" in December. But if it snows every day or every other day with 4" that will be a lot to after awhile. :D :D Must be ocean affect off the Northumberland. :D This has been the least sunny winter I've seen, and not the mildest, but not bitter cold either. We had a much milder winter back in '80-'81.

It was 36° when I got up this morning, and it's been right there all day.

Around 8:30 or so, it started freezing rain and that stopped about noon!

Pretty much bare ground wherever snow was plowed!
