I have mounted a grapple on an old tree farmer C4D And was curious on how to tie in the hydraulics correctly? Is that something I need a diverter for is there a power beyond off the main valve? Or is that something I could just tee off the main line with some pipe fittings? I would be running it to new two spool lever. I'm no pro when it comes to hydraulics just trying to Learn. Any info would be helpful!

Thanks

Look at third function valves.  They allow you to open and close the grapple independently. A company named Long makes the one I have installed.

I get that in just wondering about the main lines tho

I would be looking for a power beyond plug off the existing valve and plumbing it in that way.

The power beyond port often has more pressure than the other hydraulic lines. At any rate, it will allow you to make another independent implement control.  Third function systems hook into these types of ports.
