New symbols at the top ???

Rolling over the small arrow in the small box (if that is the one you see) then a pop-up says "shrink or expand the header". Doesn't log me out.

You have those if you have a mobile view or a very low resolution monitor.  I am being forced into changes by google. Even though we have a mobile view, the rest of the site needs to be mobile compatible or "else"

Are you using a tablet or something? You should not get the symbles unless your page is less than 600px wide. If you don't see those icons, pull your window in so it is narrower and the menu will change to icons.

Hmmm ? I use a tablet to recieve cellular internet but have the same Mac computer as the last 3 years.
The page says "go to mobile " at the bottom so I guess I'm on a regular page ???

I don't like symbols very much; I sometimes can't remember what they mean  :P  :-\

What is the resolution of your monitor on the mac?  Do you have your browser full width of the screen?

Right now I am experimenting. Nothing is in stone.

The resolution is pretty dense ..maybe 1600 wide ??? I don't know where to look that up.
I tried making the type smaller with no change. The page is full width.

That's because I changed it back. Not because it started to work for your mac.  :-\
