Has anyone installed the MD kit for adding electric start? I am at the point of installing the flywheel and after the part where you drive the flywheel onto the crankshaft it says "Then stake the end of the crankshaft just below the keyway to prevent the key from working out of the keyway" I'm not sure what they mean by this or how to go about it. Any clues?

I believe they are refering to swageing, reducing the diameter of the keyway to keep the key from coming out. This is done by placing a center punch on the metal next to the keyway and striking it with a hammer.
Been doing so much with so little for so long I can now do anything with nothing, except help from y'all!
By the way rbarshaw is short for Robert Barshaw.
My Second Mill Is Shopbuilt 64HP,37" wheels, still a work in progress.

That is correct, you really don't want the key to work out.  I don't know what a new crankshaft costs now but I'm sure they have not come down in price.
