I see the Husky 562 XP is show in the 2011 catalog, but not showing up online yet. Stopped by a local dealer, he had no idea when they would be available, or how much they would cost yet. At least this time, he was aware that the model existed (or would soon exist).

I tried a 562xp and talked with the husky rep at the expo in Bangor last month. I was told the 562 would be available sometime this fall. Price will be about the same as a 357xp.

What did you think of it? I've never had the opportunity to run one. Reading the specs is one thing, but they don't necessarily tell you how well it does in the wood.

I believe neither the 560xp nor the 562xp is out on any market yet.....

I liiked the saw. I will be buying one when they are available. More power than the 357xp and weigh about the same as the 357:

It should be lighter, if the specs are reasonably close to true (they aren't on the 357xp/359).
