Does anyone know what transmission they used in a late 60's c4 treefarmer?  I believe it had a ford gas motor to start with but it was changed for a perkins diesel before I bought it.

The one I had( mid 60s) had all ford running gear and I think it had the 172 gas motor. Great little machine would run all day on a tank of gas.

It's a T98 and now trying to find parts.

What parts do you need? Novak adapters have used me pretty well on parts in the past.  They do jeep parts but a lot of the borg Warner t98 got used in them and there's a lot of common parts.

Found some parts online, down to finding some shafts that got ate up. Thanks I'll give Novak call.

I installed a Borg Warner T18 into mine, Bored the input shaft from the T98 to fit the T18. T18 came out of a old pick up truck from the salvage yard, Early T18 used T98 cases.

Didn't say that correct, T98 and T18 used the same cases, but all the parts inside are different because the bearing are larger. T98 transmission in the tree farmer had a 1" spline? (might be wrong) been awhile and the transmission out of the pick up was 5/8" so I had to reuse the input shaft. I had 200$ in the transmission and a few hours in the input shaft to make it work. The parts are very hard and I ground out the bore in a lathe.
