Larry

I've been thinking about making a EDC sheath knife for a while. Last few rainy days I put that plan into action.

I get the urge to make a new knife every few years but never got good. I think lack of practice is the cause. The grind at the heel is a little rough and one of the Corby bolts has a slight problem. The scales are a nice chocolate brown Dymondwood that turned pink when I sanded them. Hope the color goes well with my baby blue shoes. 1095 steel and the heat treating went perfect.

Next step is too hot mold Kydex for a fast deploy sheath, something I've never done.

Any other knife makers on the forum?

If you ask Tom up in NY, he will tell you that is brown.  @Old Greenhorn

Well, it is on its way to being as nice as one of your stools.

Well, it looks purple to me, and very nice! But AS WE ALL KNOW, colors can appear differently depending on the camera and/or the monitor you are viewing it on, RIGHT GUYS?
