Alright, this is really getting to become fun for me. I am new to milling and every weekend I cut something and don't know what I cut. So that is what I come here for. This weekend I milled two different species. The first 2 photos might be a soft wood. The bark was already removed. The 3rd photo I think was a hard wood. Both tree's came from Westchester County, NY.

Top is a red pine? or ? Bottom is a maple?
Your "end" is my butt. ;D
I was thinking maple too. I look into the red pine? Anyone else know what I have here?
