Is there an insecticide used on green pine (or any green wood) to prevent infestations? If so, at what time is it applied? As it comes off the mill or after drying down to a certain MC?

It is good to spray the bark on ash logs with tempo, seems to kill the borers so you don't have to deal with them after you saw the logs.
Most everything I enjoy doing turns out to be work

I just powder up with 20 mule borax. Doesn't hurt pets or farm animals but deathly to bugs (except spiders)

You typically do not need to spray pine, just hardwoods.
