Kiln heat exchanger

Wanting to add a wood fired heat exchanger to my current kiln. Anyone have a proven setup they like. Boiler would just be heating the kiln and would mostly be used in winter. Running a Nyle 200pro so i figure I can set it up to only heat when heat is called for by the controller.

I do not have one, but do you already have a wood fired boiler?  I had thought of using radiators in front of fans (or just one) in the kiln to warm the air.  better than a fire in the kiln (woodstove).  I have an older wood furnace, so the fire is outside, and the heat exchanger is the firebox, and hot air blown into the kiln, and recirculated back to the wood furnace.  could have a humidistat open a vent on the system, but that defeats the point of the dehumidifier.

might even be able to heat treat/sterilize a load if the water gets hot enough and the BTUs are there.

I believe Nyle has heat exchangers for use with OWB's. And made for use in kilns.

I have often thought of something similar. I heat my home and shop with an OWB, and have the capability to add one additional  pump and lines. Utilizing a well insulated kiln building that would be easy to heat would work well, but a dehumidification and exhaust system would be needed for sure. I don't know how something like a WM/Nyle unit would perform alongside the heat exchanger. I don't see how it wouldn't work, and be considerably more cost effective as the heating is free.

Anyone wanting to use a WB to heat your Nyle L53/L200 can call me at 800-777-6953 ext. 212. It's pretty easy to set up and it will be controlled by the Nyle controller.
