Well,  could be..  Old days 4/4 was 1-1/4".   We saw our 4/4 1-1/8".
Wood-Mizer LT40HDE25 Super 25hp 3ph with Command Control and Accuset.

Oh come on fella's I just go the hang of the whole 2/4, 4/4, 6/4 and 8/4 thing and how ya put the edge measurement first before the face while we do it t'other way round from Tom, now ya start this :o

1" inch is 1.000" (within the tolerances of the table saw), heavy 4/4 is on the heavy side of the 1.000" to 1.249" allowable range, in this case, 1-3/16". I was trying to avoid using any decimals as it has proved disastrous in the past. ;)
