Tree ID Help Needed

Thought this was a type of birch when it was tiny, but now we're thinking it's not. Want to make sure it's not too close to the house and/or invasive. We're in Madison, WI.

I am not positive, but it looks a lot like a camellia bush to me.

It looks like either choke cherry (Prunus virginiana) or chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa). If Prunus there will be glands where the leaf blade meets the petiole. Also the scratched stem will have a strong odor. If Aronia there will be tiny black hairs on the upper midrib.  If I was betting I would go with Prunus.

And it is very likely a choke cherry - glands are there, and the stem has the strong odor.  Thanks!

Not 2 change the subject,but does anyone have a picture of Birdseye Maple? I'm from NW Wis & have heard its top dollar but no one I talked 2 had a pic just a description.
