Title: Wood Mizer MP-260 Feed Question
Post by: Luke_Eames on October 17, 2019, 06:54:21 PM
Hello Everyone,
Question on the MP260 and boards jamming up.  1 of 5 boards put through are jamming up on the teeth of the bed right after the bottom cutter.  It looks like the bottom cutter isn't taking off enough wood and the boards aren't lining up correctly to continue down the bed.  Is this just an issue with the bottom cutter knives not adjusted correctly or could it be some other issue?

Thanks!
Luke

Yes it is most likely your bottom knives  too low. I have a logosol ph260(same machine). The bottom knives should be set like a jointer, the top of the knife arc should be even with your out feed side. I use a straight edge inside the machine and feel for the knives to just graze the straight edge.

Thanks for the reply!  We put a new set of bottom blades in, raised them up a bit and everything is working good now.  Thanks!
