Took the kids to a small zoo / animal park near Wellington a few weeks back.

Various signs warning about who bites and who doesn't. The emu paddock just said, please close the gate when you leave.  :D

And no worries, they get along with goats just fine.

Weekend warrior, Peterson JP test pilot, Dolmar 7900 and Stihl MS310 saws and  the usual collection of power tools :)

Many years ago I was setting up an irrigation system for a ranch and the guy had those darn birds. He warned me to take my gold ring off my fingers or the birds would do it for me (along with my finger). They also tried to pull the chromed windshield wipers off my truck. No thanks.
