Anyone know what these are?

So these came with my (used) Mobile Dimensions mill when I bought it... I'm wondering what exactly they are... maybe some sort of log dog or log turner?

Definitely an different design. Must be pre '79 as they have always been like the ones Tom has picturesd since then.

Yep, they are a different design, all right. They could have come new with the mill in '71. I'll have to bring one with me and ask Ron next time I'm at MD. I'm thinking there's a piece missing, some sort of rod that makes the teeth lock in place.

I use a couple of the type that Tom pictured, and one of the newer style, which is similar but beefier.
