Have just purchased a 648g, done roughly 12000 hours, I have worked it for 6 days and have noticed the trans oil seems to be growing (now almost a foot on the dip stick) I believe hydraulic oil is being pushed into the trans somehow. Any JD gurus able to help

Does the hydraulic oil and trans oil share a divided cooler unit?  What are your other fluid levels doing?

A difflock seal or service brake seal leak will overfill the axle case and it overflows to the transmission case.  The axles share the hydraulic fluid.Also hydraulic pump shaft seal can leak into trans case.
