Just looking at your picture, mine is about the same. On the top where the pin goes down through mine has a piece of key stock welded on the backside of the hole on the frame. The washer that goes on top has a flat spot held by the key stock to keep the pin from rotating in the frame. All my pins are this way and I think its factory.

Hey Ed_k, any idea how much those expander pins would run a guy? Ballpark figures? Seems like the way to go if a mechanic is unavailable, or in my case remote locations....

There not wore very bad, expander pins sounds like the easy you to go, cost ? Looking at the top picture, a couple beads with a welder would fix that. The second picture, can't hardly see any ware.

I had two grease guns set up, one with a short hose, and one with a 4' hose. Two of us could grease the skidder in about 3 minutes. Using the 4' hose, i would run the end putting it on the grease inserts, while the wife pumped the grease gun, we did this once a day. Then if i wasn't there to help she used the short hose grease gun. She could put the tubes in the grease gun to, with out making a mess. ;D

I think it was around $120. for all 4.If you have a machinest close have them make some up, all they are is a pin with threads on each end and 2 tappered inserts w/a washer to push the inserts down into the wollowed out holes.inserts have slots in them to slid into the holes.
