Title: stunted white pine
Post by: plantman on August 31, 2017, 08:52:29 PM
Hi All,

I'm a landscaper in NJ and have a customer with white pines that we've been shearing for years. Some appear to be stunted. From all appearances I don't notice any insect or borer damage so I'm just wondering if others are seeing problems with white pines. Perhaps they have some bore insect inside that is not creating noticeable holes in the bark.

Post photos of the tree. Very difficult to diagnos without pics.
