Compression test on saw?

What should a ms250 stihl  show for compression?
Built my own hydraulic splitter

 Depending on how much use it's seen, around 135-150psi is generally good and I'm sure it could show higher if it's pretty new. That's just numbers for alot of saws in general. Make sure the throttle is wide open when pulling the rope. Also it wouldn't hurt to test with the engine cold and then again warmed up to see if you're concerned.

OK I will give it a whirl. Saw doesn't seem to have the power it once did.

Have you checked the spark arrestor screen? It may be plugged.
