@lurk  I checked the worm drive.  I tried spinning it and it seemed like it should rotate easier... I cleaned the inside of the copper bushing with a wire brush and added some grease.  it turned a bit easier after that but not by much...i reassembled and tried it...chain is still spinning..but i think will try a new worm drive.

for my outside stuff, I take measurement and get a storage crate (plastic) at WM and cover things like controls, motors and computer setworks.

Been seeing a few turkeys out by work in old fields, some with alder, so they can run around through that to their hearts content.  ffcheesy

I try to have a standard (if only to me} and put wired going across a wall at the same height so I can avoid this.  you can put the metal cover over wood to stop penetration, but in a thin wall you may hit it between supports.  I have weather-proof 12v breakers on my dc stuff.  some are resettable and others cool off and reset.

I'm not promising anything, but if I remember I'll make a spreadsheet and count on Monday.

First day I seen trout lily and purple trillium coming up in the woodlot.

Hosta just breaking ground here and that is on the south end of the garage. I don't see any up out by the road yet, but there is probably 6" of dead plant material laying on top of them. Grows like a jungle in that spot, dark rich ground. :D

We've got a turkey hanging around. First one is back in the back field, this shot is from probably 500 feet away, the second one it's about to play in the creek about 300 feet away. I assume it's the same one but not positive.

Whoa, nuts! Glad you figured it out quickly! It's not common for me to screw stuff to walls with maybe power behind them but when I think about it it's always nerve wracking. I have a wall in my shop that needs some covering and I should remember to take a picture of where the power is first...
