I wanted to share my experience with this little heater I use for my shop/band sharping location.

I purchased a diesel Parking / Over Night heater for an RV. I figured it would be a good way to heat my shop while take up as little space as possible. The unit is only 7x7x15 and moves a good amount of air while being quite. This was ideal for my small space that I have to work in. Let me tell you these little Chinese knock off heaters had a good following so I decided to jump and give it a shot. I had such good luck with the little heater I wanted to spread the word, for people looking to heat their shop, RV, house, or whatever else.

The main reason I picked this unit was because its affortable since getting a hot dawg heater the run on propane would cost 3 to 4 times that without the hookups and ducting. I hope everyone enjoys an odd use for an RV heater.

This was me doing my testing at first since, please note that you will need a 12v DC  30 amp converter to run  the unit since it only runs on 12v DC.

This is my final setup I build a housing out of MDF and placed the unit inside and I put the DC converter behind the unit for a cleaner look

I am going to let the unit run for the rest of the winter and when summer kicks in I will be cleaning up the wires and make it more organized.

I haven't been around diesel heaters in years. Years ago I worked for a grocery warehouse and we had a lot of them on dry box trailers and also on tractors for heating the bunks and on day cabs for heating the engines. They worked well and with clean fuel we had few issues. Enjoy the new heater. Spring is just around the corner.

Thanks it is working very well so far I cant complain. Burns about .035 gallons an hr, which is probably higher  than it should be however I can go about 3.5 days before having the fill up the 2.5 gallon container. 
I am also happy to see that it is drying out the room, so my humidifier isn't running almost 24-7.
