I am not a geek, if anything I am a Luddite. Anything electronic scares the bejabbers out of me. Anyhoo, I received a new 'puter as gift a few months ago. It is way faster than the old one with a lot more memory but I had a lot of pictures and other stuff I didn't want to lose.  Today I finally bit the bullet and bought a stick whatever that is. And no it didn't come from a mill.
I loaded all my files on the stick, unplugged, replugged and downloaded. Quite painless really. Everything transferred properly and no smoke leaked out. I was moving the screen looking for a USB port, hey even I know what that  is, and what the HECK. A CD drawer popped out. I didn't know this stoopid thing had one, the manual doesn't mention it. Now I can download pictures from the camera and run the printer.
I am scaring myself with all this new fangled technology.

Ain't technology great!?  ;D  CD ROM's are considered ancient technology by today's standard, and most new laptops aren't even coming standard with one anymore.
