Anyone here own one of these?

This is the saw my brother has owned and operated for ~15-16 years now. Has sawn a lot, uses it to make money etc

I have worked on it a few times rebuilt the gearbox and side works bearings etc. It's a very simple yet effective design. I have never sawn with it. There isn't much safety on the thing.

The original owner of the company died in 2016, he made 200 mills from I think 2004 to 2016, so might not be anyone here who has one.

Yeah, my brother paid $6500 for his (just the mill head) in 2006 I think. Now they want $16,500 for just the mill head. IMO, that is not a competitive price at them moment due to all the other swing mill options. The D&L seems like a much better built saw and it's cheaper than that price with 20' of rails included.
