Ez Boardwalk model 40 runs 11/4" blades. I tried 11/2" and was very pleased with the results. I'm considering using only 11/2" blades in the future. My question is do I need to change roller guides to 11/2"? If I continue to run the smaller guides am I causing damage that will show up in the future?...

I'm trying out some shelving brackets I made to store lumber in a shipping container. The brackets hang on the loops along the top of container sides. You can buy these type brackets but they're quite expensive at around $4-500 for each bracket.

They're a fair amount of work to build but they seem to work ok. In the last pic I've got them loaded up pretty good and it seems to handle it ok. The lumber that's on the shelf and under it was enough to pretty well cover the floor of the container and was kind of hard to get around on without knocking stacks over.Read More

But I had to lift the rail-side wheel about 3" off the ground to get the bed close to level using a hydraulic jack.Read More

Today being the weekend and cutting more cedar for my Daughter and SIL I had him and my youngest Daughter which the wood is for her older Sister helping. It was a pleasure to have them help. I can...

Good evening all,

I have a 2022 LT40 with the 38hp Kohler. This morning I started it to warm up before sawing. Within a few minutes of it idling, I heard the idle drop slightly, and began running a little rough. Upon engaging the blade the engine was slow to speed up, and lacked power. It appeared to be running on 1 cyl intermittently. Read More
