This is my first post to the forum.  I am aware of a Belsaw 12" planer model 910 for sale.  Was wondering what a good price would be.  Also, is the moulding feature practical on them or is it more of a gimmic?  I can see where the ability to make mouldings would be very desirable, but I can't afford anything new that has that capability.

I am also aware of a Grizzly G1033 for sale for $825.00.  Would that be a better option?  No ability to make moulding, but also much newer and with a dust port.

Thanks,

GE

Grey Bellsaw is now woodmaster of Kansas City. If you call them
they will let you know if any of there moulding attachments will
fit. As for the 12" how many attch. come with it but i would say
if its in good shap and has some attch with it $400 with be a good
start. I have the 18" woodmaster unit and if you would like to see
it give me a call 588-1785.

Lester,

Thanks for the reply.  Wish I could afford a new Woodmaster!  Do you use the moulding feature very much?  If so, how do you like it?

Thanks!

Don't use the moulding unit that much but when i did it worked
good. I use the planer and sander the most. The one thing i used
the moulder for was to make fluted stickers for our lumber stack
and we need to make some more. if i git the time i am going to
make a run and will let you know so you can come by and se it working.
I just though Overland tool in North Kansas City had a 18" woodmaster
that they took in on trade, you might call Steve and see if they still have it.
