It is spare plug time and I am confused regarding plug types:

Husky Cleaning Saw: Model  345 and Sthil MS 440  both books say Champion CJ6Y

Husky 357XP, 55, Jonsered 2159 and Jonsered 2050  Books say    Champion CJ7Y

The cross reference I read for NGK plugs shows a NGK  BPM 7A will be the same as the
Champion CJ6Y and Champion CJ7Y

Does this make the Champion CJ6 and CJ7 both the same,   if the NGK BPM 7A will substitute for both Champions, and therefore the saws mentioned above all take the same plug????

Yhanks

Champion CJ6 is a hotter heat range plug than CJ7. I use Bosch plugs, your 345 takes a WS7F Bosch plug, and the 440 takes a WSR6F.

I run bosch plugs in all my saws. They make them run a little better and last longer IMO.
