On our recent vacation in Maine we toured the maritime museum at Bath. This is an old shipworks, one of the last that produced wooden ships to shut down. The original machinery was particularly interesting. I didn't get a picture of the sawmill, but did get pictures of a 4 head molder, jointer with wood frame, assortment of hand tools, and a flycut type planer.

I believe that is called a Daniel's planer.

Yup, that's a Daniels planer, probably made by J A Fay & Co.
