mount 330 homelite handlebar?

Too tired to mess with trying to figure out the order of manipulating the handlebar back into position on my 330. I have done it several times, but years apart. Searched for the issue, but found nada.

Can somebody tell me how to get the handlebar back on without having to spring it open to clear the mount? Or just tell me that's what I have to do.

Well, the other thing I was besides tired was naturally lacking in patience. I just sprung the handlebar into place and it's all good. Probably what I did the last time I had it apart 8 or 10 years ago.  :
