adapting a grove goat to load/unload logs

I've been wondering about the feasibility to converting a grove goat into something that would unload log trailers and potentially haul logs.  I don't know how difficult it would be to adapt a grapple on the end of the boom to replace the mechanism that grabs the fruit boxes.

These machines can be picked up fairly reasonable due to the declining citrus industry in Florida.

I'm not sure of the lifting capacity of the goat. A citrus pallet box only weighs 900 lbs. and logs are often much heavier.

It could be handy for loading sawdust or wood chips into trucks too.

I don't know crap about fabricating, but that's a very interesting machine.  I'd be thinking about it!
