Through a friend of a friend I found a used edger. It's a Valley je 2/24 and has been setting idle for the last 20 years in a garage. So, it looks like I'll be making a trip back to the Oregon coast to look at it and hopefully bring it home. The starting price is 2k and has a few extras that come with it.

A good edger makes an amazing difference in your operation.  I would be lost without mine.

I believe that is the edger WM copied theirs from.
Originally made in New Brunswick so it has traveled some.
Good luck.

Hopefully they copied it close, I understand parts can be hard to find. If something fails, I wouldn't be opposed to converting it to Woodmizer

I've never been around an edger, so I'm looking forward to it.

Picked up the edger this weekend, now I just need about 14" of snow to melt so I can try it.
