Echo 590

Does anyone run a 24" bar on there Echo 590? Manual says it will handle it but just wondering. I was thinking of trying one with possibly skip tooth chain. Got to look again at the timber where I am going to start cutting soon. Still on the farm but an area that hasn't been cut in a little over 40 years. Cut a poplar the other day that was 37" on the butt. Saw had the power but it was a little difficult with a 20" bar.
