Bent lamination ?'s

Are there any better choices of wood to use for bent laminations? No super tight curves but a good bit of them none the less. Also the wood needs to be somewhat rot resistant as its for outdoor chairs. Thanks ahead of time.

Ash is a good bending wood. I used to use mahogany door skins for the inner part.and only used the solid wood for the part that showed.   Muggs
