I get a job that will make you think just how to cut it. The customer had this to cut in half for a bed.

Had to take  a little off each side.

Then a book match. ;)

To me a job like this is fun, I almost did it for free. but It did take less than 10 min $50.00 That's $300.00 +  an hr. Do you think that's too much?  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :o :o ;D

...the skills/brains of an experienced sawyer = priceless.  He got a fair deal and you had fun.  Look forward to seeing the final product, if you can get a pic.  All the best, Rob.

He got a bargain especially considering the stress on you involved with cutting a one of a kind piece like that.

I tell people I have a $40 minimum charge.  Usually people who have such small jobs are happy to pay that for the thing they want cut.

It did look like fun, I like those jobs.
You didn't get paid too much, I tell people I have a $150 minimum, and then charge them less, like $75. They think they are getting a deal then.  ;D

I am sure you spent more time if you include the phone call, discussion ect.  if you could do 6 jobs and hour like that it would be great.  of course you would need a receptionist, and snacks with a waiting room.   :) :) :)

$50 is not too much, and most would be fine to pay it to have a specialized job like that done. Very neat piece, and yes, it would be fun to cut. Well done

Be sure to mark the waiting line with tape 6 ft apart. And arrows too.

Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!
