When I said I finally met a FF member, and it was a cousin, not WoodWalker.
Well, here is a picture of WoodWalker and his mill (phone camera, not the best)
He took a push mill and converted to electric set works, but he'll have to tell you about that.
Here is a shot of his guard steer.

Wells from the photos, I now know why. TR is obviously more comfortable in the presence of big bull. Shaking like a leave next to a forum member, steady as a rock next to the cow.
Actually, I fuzzed up the picture for two reasons, didn't know if WoodWalker would want to go public, and second, to make the picture less of a commercial for the mill maker.
Yup, that's my story and I am sticking to it. 8)

Around this place, ya got to be able to handle the bull. By the way, Jeff, a steer is not a cow, it is a crestfallen bull. :P
Isnt that kinda like saying that a rooster isnt a chicken??? :D :D
Glad you finally got to meet a "for real" FF member. Nice lookin steer also :)
That is like saying that a rooster isn't a hen.

I get my picture posted on here and all ya'll talk about is the DanG eat the grass and breath good air worthless longhorn steer! Guess I should have posed.
That's not you, it's your cousin.
:D
Heck the first time I looked at the pictures without my glasses on I thought Don had grown a handlebar moustache. ;D
Judging by the size of those horns they must be loud.
steer sounds (http://www.autospeak.com/grpsndb/beepbeep.wav)
GOSH!
Over here we do things a little differently...
We keep our washing lines in the backyard, up on a stick.
It's pretty ingenious, really, no need whatsoever to attach them to some poor cow's head and have it run around the yard...
This one seems to have lost it's washing.
asy :D

The steer is prettier ;D ;D ;D ;D
Anyway you look at it, That's a fine set of horns. Look good on an Eldorado convertable hood. Looks even better on the original owner.
Downright good-lookin hide too. I'd be proud to call him Fido.
