Do Clark 664c and 664b use the same planetary's

Hi, I'm replacing the front axle planetary on a 664c. Would a axle planetary from a 664b be the same?

maybe, maybe not. i have seen two sizes on them, it depends on the axle spec it was ordered with. its simpler than you think, if it looks just like your planetary, it is the same.

you would do better to compare part numbers. I know lots of 664s got axle transplants from 666s. as old as these machines are who knows whats been tweaked over the years.

the 664B had two options one is the same as my 662 and the other is a heavier built planetary cant remember the diff numbers but I think you can tell the difference just by looking at them

The clark Michigan wheel loaders also have the same planetary system. A 75 b has the same as my 664.
