This may be old news to many of you, but Woodmizer posted a link to Gene Wengert's book  Woods to Woodshop on Facebook.  The link takes you to a free PDF of the book.  Great information for us amateur and beginner sawyers.  A thank you to Woodmizer and to Gene for making this available.

Thanks for sharing the link. It really is a great intro, especially for those of us who are new and still learning. Feel free to download, print it, and share it!  ;D

Thank you to Dr. Wengert and to Wood-Mizer. "Woods to Workshop" will be useful to many people.

I don't know of any publication that offers as much useful information of proven methods about sawing, stacking, and drying condensed into as few pages as has been done in "Woods to Workshop".

Well done!

After a friend suggested I read this book, and seeing the above praise, I was disappointed to not be able to find/google this document (the link above is now dead....)

As a last ditch effort, I did a search from within Wood-Mizer, and there it was!  It is set up to request from Wood-Mizer, so hopefully they will send me an email/link but it didn't come through after I submitted my info.
