:) I have been sawing about twenty miles from my house
for Mr. Rogers. Mr. Rogers owns about 4000 acres of land.
He raises Charllaie( white cows and bulls). His pure bred
cattle was chosen the best in the USA and canada. He is
79 years old and was helping me roll logs and tail boards.
Called the sawmill-That Thing-- I had a 24x24 red oak cant
on the mill and he had me to shut down so he could go to the
house and get his camera. Before I left today he had to
show me his sale arena and some of his prize bulls. I ask
him when the next sale was, he said May 25 and you are invited
Private showing with people from all over the US to attend.
He asked me how busy did I want to be with that that thing--
told him that I like to stay busy. He said that will not be a problem
because he has several friends that need logs sawn.
The funny thing about this is , I am sawing in the backyard
of the best known sawyer around. Like I say, real intresting week.

macurtis, Well it sounds like you have a job in front of you. It never hurts to have that kind of help. You just might make enough to buy one of them bulls, and start another job. Or is my post alot of Bull?

That's what I would call preping for success.  You are making the right contacts and it will pay in the long haul.  I sure would like to see some pictures of your customers and jobs. This is what makes great scrapbooks. ;D

It is the color of that "Thing" that draws them in and it is how well it cuts that makes even a rookie look good. 8)  You could do well to keep in his good graces and this is how it all starts getting out of hand.
Glad you got your rod straightened out. :D
Have not gotten any word if Budman is stopping by.

Macurtis,  Has Mr Rogers got any available good looking grandaughters ?? On second thought they don't even have to be good looking ! :D
