If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Thanks guys. Any members that are in the NY or nearby states area, let me know if you come across some special looking wood that might need a home. We're always on the lookout for eye popping wood for door panels , etc. Kind of our specialty in custom cabinet work. Also reclaimed wood that looks extra special.
