Out in my neck of the woods a S & W 125 , a1997 model with 500 hrs  listed for 30K six months ago and is down to 20K now. Has anyone owned, operated, or seen these mills saw? I have seen a video of them sawing . For a stationany mill seemed to function OK.  There clamping and squaring system is designed different.
No, I am not going to buy it.

Not long ago, I had that answer and it has gotten away from me.  S&W was a bandmill Manufacturer in Alabama I think that made 3 or 4 different sizes of "heavy" bandmills with larger engines when the industry standard was 25 horse and smaller.  They disappeared a while ago and last year I got some advertising from an organization that apparently bought the company and was reorganizing it .  The only thing I remember about them was  the advertising touting the heft of the mill and that it was "Production Oriented."  For the life of me I can't remember the name of the outfit that bought them.  I'll keep looking.
