hey magiman, do you have any numbers for buying your filters locally ?
i've just bought a 98 super, and it has the lombardi engine on it (D40) parts store doesnt reconize woodmizer on lookup (imagine that )
so i was wondering where you bought your filters, fuel filter is a napa 3361....

Have your auto parts store look it up under the engine manufacturers name, or you do it on filter manuf. web site. Frank C.

The parts store won't recognize Woodmizer because they don't make engines. Try searching Lombardini, they are a well known manufacturer.

James,  My new engine takes the same filters that the old one took.

Napa oil filter is: 1083
Napa secondary fuel filter is: 3361
Baldwin primary fuel and water separator: BF 7682D

The Baldwin filter is the long one that I got when my dealer did not have the short one in stock.  They can cross reference that number back to the short one.

Hope that helps, thank Magicman.

I'd rather buy Woodmizer parts to support their good tech service.  But sometimes you don't want to wait for shipping.

Lombardini is owned by Kohler now, sometimes that helps them in the look-up.

I don't have the numbers offhand, but I have gotten all of my Lombardini filters at Carquest (except the air filter, I got that from WM).

Wix makes Napa gold filters.  Most of em you can add a digit to the front of the napa numbers.

5 for oil   51083 for ex.
3 for fuel 33361
4 for air. and so on.

The baldwin number above interchanges to a Wix  WF10093.

The wf filters have only been around a couple years.  I guess they ran outta 3s,4s,and 5s.
